Slow recovery to 20% house price growth
The average house price in England will rise 20% to £227,800 in 2014 despite substantial falls in 2009 and 2010 – according to a new forecast published by the National Housing Federation.

Residents in rural areas face a wait of up to 280 years
People applying for an affordable home in the ten rural districts with the longest waiting lists would face a wait on average of up to 90 years before enough new homes were built to clear the backlog, according to the National Housing Federation.
