The definitive guide for estate agents has been launched by RICS (The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors). The book will raise agency standards but will also improve the consumers’ experience of the home buying and selling process.

Estate agents across the UK have reported a slight increase in activity at the end of 2008, the National Association of Estate Agents has said.

Following the release of the RICS survey today, Peter Bolton King, Chief Executive of the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA), the residential sales arm of the National Federation of Property Professionals (NFOPP), said:
