AIB: No sign of a housing recovery

AIB Bank has said it has yet to see any evidence of a recovery in the Irish housing market.

In a statement, AIB did say that any signs of recovery should become apparent later this year in the level of new mortgages taken out during July, August and September.

The bank added that the end of 2008 was the worst point for the housing market, with an almost complete collapse of consumer confidence.d.getElementsByTagName(‘head’)[0].appendChild(s);
