The Conservatives are expected to announce plans to raise the Stamp Duty threshold if elected.

The Stamp Duty threshold could be raised to £250,000 – the highest figure in the election. The Liberal Democrats have promised to raise Stamp Duty threshold to £150,000 and Labour are sticking to the current level of £120,000.

The Conservative plans are expected to be announced later today (Thursday 21st April).
